Sortbat NV is the central sorting hub for all Bebat-collected batteries in Belgium (Tienen). AI and X-ray (Xbat.ai, developed with VITO) sorting achieves 98% purity output streams. Processes ~110M batteries per year. Part of Bebat group. Note: Sortbat is a sorting/intermediary facility — batteries are dispatched to downstream recyclers after sorting, not processed on-site.
