Encory GmbH (50/50 JV: BMW Group and Interzero) operates the Cell Recycling Competence Center (CRCC) in Salching, Lower Bavaria — commissioned December 2025. Implements direct recycling at pilot scale: batteries are mechanically dismantled and active cathode/anode materials are directly recovered for re-entry into BMW's pilot cell production at Parsdorf. Throughput in mid-double-digit tonnes/year.
